Obituary of Sharon Ann Hubbard Moore

CARTHAGE – Sharon Ann Hubbard Moore, 75, of Country Manor Nursing Home, died on Friday, April 6, 2018.

Sharon was born in Carthage, New York on January 27, 1943, daughter of the late Kenneth L. and Adelia L. Hubbard.  She graduated from Carthage Central School.  On April 13, 1963 she married Stanley Kenneth Moore Jr. at the Natural Bridge Methodist Church.  She held various jobs throughout the years.

She enjoyed playing bingo and visiting with family and friends.

Sharon is survived by three children, Coralie (James) Delles of Natural Bridge, NY; Stanley Kenneth (Trena Middlestate) Moore of Harrisville, NY; Shannon O’Delle (Stephen) Clarke of Natural Bridge, NY; two sisters, Vicky Sedon of Wyantskill, NY; Teresa Gates of Austin Tobun, OH; eight grandchildren, Thomas P. Delles; Destini D. Delles; Logan M. Moore; Brianna R. Moore; Natalie J. Moore; Bailey E. Clarke; Alex S. Clarke; Rieley R. A. Clarke; and one great-grandson, Owen L. Clarke.  Sharon is predeceased by her husband, Stanley who died on June 11, 1980; a brother, Kenneth Hubbard; and two sisters, Patsy Baker and Barbara Hubbard.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the Old Hubbard Homestead, 24118 Hickey Rd., Carthage NY 13619, with Rev. Wayne Arnold officiating.  There will be a luncheon immediately following the service at the Natural Bridge Firehall.
