NATURAL BRIDGE, N.Y. — Danyelle M. Pignone, 45, of 12346 Beartown Rd., passed away late Sunday evening, July 18, at her home under the care of her family and Hospice of Lewis County.
Born Aug. 16, 1969, in Carthage, the daughter of Daniel and Winifred Rice Burns, she graduated in 1987 from Carthage Central School.
She married Paul Pignone on Sept. 15, 1990, at the United Community Church in Carthage.
She worked for the Carthage Central School District as an aide and bus monitor. She also was employed for a short time by the Carthage Republican Tribune. She was a member of the United Community Church, the Carthage American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Carthage YMCA.
Surviving are her husband, Paul; two children; Rusty Pignone and Toni Pignone, both of Carthage; two grandchildren, Adriana and Blain; and her siblings; Kim Beaulieu, PA, and Robert Burns, Carthage.
A funeral service will be held 6 p.m. Friday, July 24, in the chapel of the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 500 State St., Carthage, with Rev. Wayne Arnold officiating. Calling hours will be held 3 to 6 p.m. Friday prior to the service.
Memorial donations may be made to the Carthage Area Rescue Squad, 200 Riverside Drive, Carthage, NY 13619.
