Obituary of Robert Donald Wilken Jr.

NATURAL BRIDGE – Robert Donald Wilken Jr., 63, of Depot St., died on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at home in care of his brother Roger, family, and Jefferson County Hospice. Robert was born on March 6, 1955 in New Jersey, the son of Robert D. and Patricia M. (Symonds) Wilken.  He married Brenda Carol Bergen on January 16^, 1987 in Lakeland, Florida.

He had a passion for music including writing songs, performing and playing various instruments including the guitar, drums and piano. He enjoyed wrestling, bowling and tennis.  He is survived by a daughter, Angela (Wilken) Howey of Florida; two sons, Andrew and James Wilken of Florida; seven siblings, Russell Wilken of Gulfport, MS; Roger Wilken of Natural Bridge, NY; Robbin Wilken of Richland Hills, TX; Richard Wilken of Florida; Randolph Wilken of Weirton, WV; Kathleen Wilken of Watertown, NY; and Ronald Wilken of Ladson, SC; as well as nine grandchildren.

Per the family’s request, no public services will be held.
