Obituary of Mary Louise Talbot

Mary Louise Anderson Talbot, 87, passed away surrounded by her family on January 7, 2019
after a brief illness.


Mary graduated as a Registered Nurse from the University of Rochester School of Nursing.
She was active in the United Methodist Church in Carthage, NY, and other local clubs and
organizations. She enjoyed gardening and loved music, including singing in choirs, playing the
piano and listening to classical and vocal music.


She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Warren C. Talbot. She is survived by
her children, Anne (Steve) Campbell of Lexington, KY, and David (Suzanne) Talbot of
Pawcatuck, CT; two granddaughters Hannah and Meghan Talbot; two grandsons Adam (Laura)
Campbell and Bryan (Sarah) Campbell; one great-granddaughter Allison Beth Campbell; and
several nieces and nephews.


A memorial service was held at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 3421 Harrodsburg Road,
Lexington, KY, on Wednesday, January 9. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Carthage, NY,
at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to either the Wesley Village Benevolent Fund,
(Attention Barbara Mullins)1125 Lexington Road, Wilmore, KY 40390, or the Carthage United
Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 608 State Street, Carthage, NY 13619.
