NATURAL BRIDGE - Margaret M. Myers, 72, formerly of North Croghan Rd., passed away on the 51st anniversary of her wedding, Sunday, February 10, 2019 at the Hospice Residence of Jefferson County.

Margaret was born on September 12, 1946, a daughter to the late Lawrence and Myrtle (Cousin) Schafer. She graduated from Clayton High School and went on to work on Fort Drum as a housekeeper.

On February 10, 1968, Margaret married Lester Myers in Carthage; Lester passed away in 2007.

Margaret enjoyed playing bingo and watching her son shoot darts, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Debra Myers and Lester Myers Jr., both of Natural Bridge, two sisters, Kathy Britton and Evelyn Bidwell, both of Carthage.  She is predeceased by her siblings, Lucey and Roger Schafer.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on March 2, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Natural Bridge Fire Department. Burial will take place in the spring in Hillside Cemetery, Natural Bridge.
