Obituary of Elaine Freeman

REDWOOD – Elaine L. Freeman, 67, died on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at SUNY Upstate Medical Hospital in Syracuse.

Elaine was born on November 5, 1951 in Alexandria Bay, New York, a daughter of the late Homer S. and Florence I. (Orvis) Booth.  She graduated from Indian River Central School and went on to work as a cashier at Woolworths.

On August 8, 1980 she married William Freeman.

Elaine enjoyed online games, puzzles and reading.  She also liked doing needle point and embroidering.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, William; a daughter, Dawn Lee Freeman of Redwood, NY; a sister, Karen Prue of Philadelphia, NY; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She is predeceased by a brother, Roger D. Booth and a sister, Carol J. (Savage) Booth.

No calling hours or funeral service will be held.  A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the Oxbow Fire Hall.
