Obituary of Charlotte French Noyes

Carthage- Charlotte (French) Noyes, 74, formerly of West Street, died on Friday, April 5, 2019 at the Grand Nursing Home in Rome, NY, where she has resided since November 2017.  She was born on May 28, 1944 in Yakima, Washington; to the late Henry D. & Edna A. Mathison French.  She graduated from Watertown High School. 

She married Charles Noyes, the marriage ended in divorce. She was a CNA for Mercy Hospital, she also worked at Gould’s Pumps, and Car Freshener, in Watertown. She was a primarily homemaker after her illness in 1976.

She is survived by several children, Charles (Chuck) & Karen Noyes Jr., Carthage, Quint (Sue) Noyes, Pennsylvania; Tammy Monroe, Carthage and Angel & Kenneth Phillips, Carthage. She is also survived by a brother, Wesley Dean French, Louisiana; and a sister, Caroline Sheppard, Illinois; and 10-grandchildren and 9- great-grandchildren.

She is predeceased by three sisters, and one brother.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren having tea parties. She was an avid bible reader and loved playing BINGO.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 4-7pm at the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., located at 500 State Street in Carthage, NY 13619.
