CARTHAGE- John N. Molnar, 70, of 260 State Street, Apt. 201 died on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse where he's been a patient since October. He was born on April 12, 1945 in Watertown, New York to Nicholas and Mary Russell Molnar. He attended school in Carthage. He was a self-employed contractor he helped build new homes on Fort Drum. A marriage ended in divorce to Ruth (Perfetto) Molnar. He loved fishing and watching country western movies and bluegrass music. He was survived by his brother, Austin Molnar, Carthage; his daughter, Yolanda Calamusa and husband, Donald, Fort Drum; his sons, Sean Molnar and wife Angelia, West Carthage; John Paul Molnar, Copenhagen; and grandchildren, Tazanna Molnar, John Paul Jr. Molnar, Carson Molnar, Port Leyden; Destiny Molnar, West Carthage.; Jordan Collins, Taja Collins, and Shaylee Collins, all of Fort Drum. He was predeceased by his parents and an infant son John. Calling Hours will be held Thursday, November 12th from 2:00pm-3:00pm at Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 500 State St., Carthage. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be held privately in the Fairview Cemetery in Carthage.
