She was always kind and very quiet. Even though i was in a difficult situation in my mind she always welcomed me into her home. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Mrs Hadley, as I respectfully called her, had a mischievous smile and jolly laugh that made me feel I was important enough to have her attention no matter how busy she was. This was important for a young girl who was striving to have self confidence and be accepted in the world. Mrs Hadley included me in the sewing lessons she gave her daughters, she gave me my 13th birthday party, including a butterfly cake, when my dear mom was miles away being treated for cancer, and she listened to my fears and let me cry, when I worried if my mom would ever come home. Mrs Hadley, along with her husband and kids, took care of my sisters and me until my mom returned. When I was 13, Mrs Hadley was the second most important woman in my life. Thank you Mrs Hadley for sharing your mischievous smile and jolly laugh. You will be always in my heart and my sisters’ hearts as well.
