We were neighbors growing up for 13 years. We had some great times to share. We played outside for hours in the sand pile, gardens, on the swings and picking choke cherries. Playing hide and seek and I remember that it was cold and snowy, so we had to do something inside. We took the big box out of the front closet, then dumped out the shoes and boots, and took turns pushing each other down the open staircase cellar stairs. Well Monie caught on that we were making too much noise! She yelled at us all and made us stop and pickup all of the boots and shoes. She then told me that I had to go home and that I could not come over for a week. Tammy piped up and told her Mom that it was not fair that I had to leave and not to be able to come over. Then they had to all go to their rooms. We had more fun times when they returned from ME. It was a much easier life back then. We made peanut butter fudge, popcorn in a kettle, and pizza.
