Connie brought us cinnamon rolls after we had moved in on CR 42. What a lovely soul and a great reminder of how to love your neighbor.
Our kids had drawn her pictures and we would stop by and say hi when we walked by her house on family walks. She had posted the kids pictures in the window so we could see them. We hadn’t seen her out when we walked by in awhile so we assumed she must have been spending time away.

Dear Dan, Brian,Tim,Shawn and Kevin; your wives, and grandchildren; we wish to offer our condolences on the loss of your wonderful mother. We visited her whenever we came to Carthage and she was my mother’s close friend. Connie and Herald sold the plot of land next-door to them 40 years ago where my parents both resided until their deaths. I always enjoyed my visit with your parents and especially your mom after the loss of my dad and your father. She was simply a wonderful woman and we heard many stories of her children and grandchildren over the years. Again, please except our heartfelt condolences on your loss.

She was elegant, full of charm, always a delight to see, and I will always remember her as one of my role models from childhood up until she passed. I remember Connie and Harold from being classmates of my brother and Jane for all these past years and loved them both dearly. I remember grandma and grandpa Joslyn (they were wonderful people). I have known Connie and her family for 50 yrs. I grew up down the road from them and even babysat the boys.
You couldn't ask for a better family. It was a pleasure to be asked to take care of there boys.
When someone was sick or in need of anything, she was always there.
God has definatly gained an angel. She will finally be reunite with her wonderful husband Harold.

Heaven certainly gained a incredible Lady. As kids growing up visiting constantly at our grandparents Brenon farm across from Harold and Connie they became part of the Brenon extended family. What a lovely, lovely lady. Always friendly, a gentle woman who made you feel good. Jack and I served with Harold and Connie on the entertainment committee at Carlowden early in our membership, they taught us so much. I will really miss her smile. Condolences and comfort to the family.
