Grandma Mary was a blessing to everyone who knew her. She was always there to lend a hand and speak a kind word.
I was so grateful to have her in my life when my first born, Autumn, arrived. She came every day to help me take care of her. When Dylan was born she was there also with love and support. When Dylan was 8 he was suffering with an appendicitis attack and at the same moment our Dalmatian pup came in the house and had cut his belly open. It was Mary to the rescue! She took the pup to the Vets and I took Dylan to the hospital. She finished at the Vets and rushed to the hospital. We enjoyed going to church with her for Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday with a big dinner that would follow. The kids would hunt for Easter eggs and fly their kites. She would sew cute little outfits for them. One year she made them all cabbage patch kid dolls that were quite unique!
When anyone visited her and Bimmer she would always offer them something to eat. When I lived there I loved getting home and she would have a beautiful meal ready! My favorite was Spanish Rice and I still use her recipe.
I loved her dearly and appreciated her being my mother-in-law. She will forever be in my heart and thoughts.
