GOUVERNEUR – Flora E. Webb, 81, formerly of Gouverneur, passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Maplewood Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Canton where she had been a resident since 2002.
Flora was born on September 13, 1939 in Russell, New York, to the late Donald and Lena (Brayton) Denton. She graduated from Edwards Central School.
On June 20, 1959 she married Arnold Webb in Edwards, New York. Arnold passed away on March 4, 2019.
She enjoyed cooking, playing Yahtzee with her husband, and volunteering at the local nursing home.
Flora’s survivors include Michael (Wendy) Webb of Centerville, GA; Robert Webb of Gouverneur, NY; Eric (Rosie) Webb of LaFargeville, NY; and Richard Webb of Gouverneur, NY; a sister, Blitha Prashaw of Gouverneur, NY; a brother, Donald Denton Jr. of Gouverneur, NY; as well as four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She is predeceased by her husband and two sisters, Doris Dufalt and Ruth Bressette.
No public services will be held at this time.
