It is with such a saddened heart to hear of Rose's passing. She was such a beautiful and kind soul, one of the first Natural Bridge ladies to ever extend a welcoming hand to me when I lived in that area. I will always remember her very pleasant nature, her smile and kindness. My sincerest condolences to the family. (Linda Lozo Prashaw)

Our heartfelt condolences to the entire Fowler family. Our families have been friends for as long as I can remember and share many memories. Growing up, I remember going with my mother for coffee to Mrs. Fowler's and enjoying her famous donuts. Another fond memory was music. We girls played guitars around the campfire with Fudgie and John, while Mr. Fowler played the mandolin and spoons. "Rah, rah, rumble seats and running boards, them was the good old days!" My deepest condolences to the entire family of my dear friend Rose. We have been friends for many years and share many wonderful memories including family gatherings, weddings, travel and of course shopping. In our younger years, our families used to go snowmobiling together. Then, as we got older Florida became a destination to escape the snow. Rose was a very special friend and I will miss her greatly. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone.
I grew up in the Fowler household. The best days after school was when Lisa and I would run to her house and Rose was making donuts. We would get to shake the donut holes in a bag of cinnamon sugar and of course sample. I have many memories of Rose and Doug with our families. Being our relatives were in England. It always amazed me how large their extended family was .Cousins,Aunts and Uncles. Gathering together for outings at their camp. We were always included. My boys were fortunate to also know Doug and Rose after we moved to Florida. We spent many weekends together with my parents and them. While they wintered here. They were treated like there own grandchildren.
Take comfort knowing Rose is at peace with Doug . They have left many memories and touched all that lived in the small community in which we lived.
