SACKETS HARBOR- Judy M. Getgen, 70 formerly of Rochester, NY and Co. Road 75 died peacefully Friday, February 12, 2021 at the Jefferson County Hospice Residence under the care of hospice and her family. She was born on October 1, 1950 in Warsaw, New York to the late Aldei Frank & Isabelle (Bookmiller) Peron.
Judy graduated from West Genesee High School in Camillus, New York. She married Gerald M. Getgen on May 5, 1976 in Fairport, NY; the couple owned and operated Custom Secondary Services in Rochester, NY until her retirement.
She is survived by her husband Gerald Getgen, Sackets Harbor, NY; Geoffrey M. (Krista) Getgen, Watertown, NY; several Step-Children, Daniel (Ruanne) Getgen, Port Orange, FL; Ginger Getgen, New Jersey; and Mathew Getgen, Constantia, NY. She is also survived by 4- grandchildren Elyse, Lauren, Justin and Gavin.
She is predeceased by a brother, Richard Peron.
Judy enjoyed spending time with friends and family, attending Ruff Rochester Ultra Sport Fun Flyers events and activities.
A private service will be held by the family.
