Obituary of Marsha L. Winters

UTICA – Marsha L. Winters, 55, of 100 Rutger St., passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at her home, under the care of Hospice. Marsha was born on May 15, 1965 in Lowville, daughter of Thomas Edward and Ramona Jane (Dekin) Plantz. After her schooling, she became a homemaker who enjoyed camping and spending time with her children. On March 7, 2008 she married Jacob Winters. Survivors include her mother, Ramona Forcier of Carthage; her husband, Jacob Winters; six children, Kimberley Plantz of Carthage; Shawn Peters of Utica; Nicole Plantz of Carthage; Shelley Plantz of Carthage; Dustin Sauer of Carthage; and Jacklyn Plantz of Carthage; a brother, Kevin Plantz of Carthage; a sister, Lisa Plantz of Carthage; as well as numerous grandchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins. She is predeceased by her father, Thomas Plantz, her maternal and paternal grandparents, as well as several aunts and uncles. Burial will be held in the Spring in Fairview Cemetery in Carthage.
