We only knew Hila for a short time, but loved spending time with her when she would visit us at the lake. She was a lovely woman, so warm and genuine. I'll never forget the first time we met her at the property, she put on her boots and hiked the property lines with us, even through creeks and up steep inclines. She was fearless, and we hope we are half as active and strong at her age.

Our condolences to Hila's family. I feel so sad for her. She was a good friend to us and we really loved how welcoming she and Ted made us feel. They were the first friends we had when we bought the farm and they stayed our friends until their passing. God Bless you. You will be missed by us and a lot of other people.
