Steven was a bright light in a dark world. His laughter and positive spirit were a gift to us all. I met him years, actually decades, ago when he was living in Washington DC and we kept in touch over the years. He will truly be missed.

One of my favorite photos!!! I will miss you, Steven! Thanks for finding me all those years ago, and becoming my friend. All my love to you J.D., and to the rest of Steven's family. I will be thinking of all of you.

I would like to send my condolences! Steven was an amazing person. He was best friend to my sister in high school. He never would let anyone bring yours or his spirits down. If you needed a shoulder to cry on. He would be there in a flash to give you his. One thing I remember to this day. When my sister didn’t have a prom date for their 94 senior prom. Steven was there knocking on my parents door, asking her to go with him. I swear I don’t know how many pictures my mom took that day. But I do know, is that those pictures are still hanging in the living room on the wall at my parents house. Steven had a big heart and will always will be remembered that way. I will will miss your smile and you post about politics statements on Facebook. Rest easy friend until we meet again. Sending love, hugs, and strong vibes to you family at this difficult time. God bless!
