Obituary of Wayne P. Susice

CARTHAGE – Wayne P. "Pucker" Susice, 54, Riverside Dr., Canton, NY, lifelong resident of Carthage, passed away on September 23rd, 2016 at his home. Wayne was born in Carthage on April 21, 1962, the son of Andrew & Betty LaVancha Susice; he graduated from Carthage Central High School with the Class of 1982. He worked at the Carthage Area Hospital for many years in the maintenance department, followed by working as a handyman. A marriage to Lynda Delles ended in divorce. He really enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, baking and sitting around a fire. He was always willing to help anyone whenever there was a need. He is survived by his son and his daughter in law, Shawn and Danielle Susice, Hermon, NY, his son, Bryan Susice, Philadelphia, NY, along with three grandsons; Carter, Connor and Gannon. Also surviving are his siblings; Sally, Watertown, Tommy "Andy", Carthage, Sandra, Carthage, Richard, North Carolina, Frank, Croghan and Timmy, Watertown and several nieces and nephews all over the United States. He is predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Betty Susice. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 500 State St., Carthage. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Carthage. Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, prior to the funeral, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
