WEST CARTHAGE- Jana M. Patchin, 63, 20448 Co, Route 45 died on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Hospice House of Jefferson County surrounded by her family; she battled cancer since 2013.
She was born in Carthage on October 4, 1953 to the late Richard and Emma Elizabeth Daniels Mallette and graduated from West Carthage High School in 1972. She worked as a Resident Coordinator for Fort Drum until her illness in 2013. She married Leo Patchin on September 29, 1990.
She is survived by her husband, Leo Patchin, West Carthage; several children, Joshua (Raymond) Mono-Wong, Connecticut; Jeremiah (Debbie) Mono, New Hampshire; Jolene (Matt) Pate, Carthage; David Patchin, Harrisville; Carthage; Amy Jo Patchin, Carthage; Becky Manning, Hammond as well as her sister, Victoria (Vickie) Mallette, Scotia, NY and three sister in laws, Gail Patchin Zeh, Donna Patchin, Claudia Barlow and a brother in law, Neil Patchin. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours will be held at the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., 500 State St., Carthage on Friday, December 2, 2016 from 2-4 pm & 6-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 2:00pm at the St. James Catholic Church with The Rev. Donald Robinson, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery, Carthage.
