Obituary of Angeline M Cronk

CARTHAGE – Angeline (Angie) M. Cronk, 79, passed on Monday June 26, 2017, at the Country Manor Nursing Home where she had been a resident. She was surrounded by her loving husband and family. She is survived by her husband, David; her children, Mrs. Joseph (Michele) Prince of Lowville; David Cronk Jr., Baldwinsville; Mrs. Dale (Mary) Spencer and Mrs. Darren (Lori) Ashcroft of Carthage; one brother, Frank Cassoni, Carthage; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Angie was born on May 21, 1938 in Deferiet, NY, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna (Gerace) Cassoni. She attended school and graduated from the Augustinian Academy and the Watertown School of Commerce in 1955. On November 30, 1957, she married David A. Cronk at St. Ritas Catholic Church in Deferiet. She worked as a book keeper at the Marine Midland Bank in Carthage and then waitressed at the Country Kitchen for more than 30 years. She loved to laugh and be around people. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, putting puzzles together, cooking and doing things for others. Angie was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Fly high with the Angels mom. Until we meet again ….. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 30th at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., 500 State St., Carthage, with Deacon Richard Stabb officiating. Calling hours will be held at the Funeral Home for one hour prior to the service, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM. Burial will be at a later date.
