Obituary of Christopher B. Norton

BLACK RIVER – Christopher B. Norton, 32, died on Sunday morning, October 22, 2017 at home, surrounded by his family and under the care of Jefferson County Hospice. Chris was born on December 27, 1984 in Schwabmuenchen, Germany, a son of Brian T. and Monika M. Kramer Norton. He attended Carthage Central School. On October 5, 2013, he married his high-school sweetheart, Heather A. Rogers at the Carlowden Country Club. He worked in tree removal for Lewis Tree Service. He genuinely enjoyed his job. Most of all, he loved hunting and fishing with his boys, Ashton and Colin. He is survived by his beloved wife, Heather; two sons, Ashton and Colin Norton; his parents, Brian T. and Monika M. Norton of Aston, PA; his maternal grandmother, Maria Kramer of Germany; mother and father-in-law, Ronald and Rita Rogers of Carthage; three sisters-in-law, Amiee Zehr of Carthage; Shannon Pickett of Florida; Heidi Rogers of Carthage; several neices and a nephew, and an extended family in Oklahoma.
