Albert & Gerry were lifelong friends with my parents, the late Mason & Viola Vary; friends and neighbors for many years with my late grandparents Dewey & Mary Bickford; and like second parents to the Vary children. I have good memories of playing at their farm (right across Rt. 12 from my grandparents' farm), their sons, and "hellos" over the years whenever I visited my parents. I'm sending sincere condolences, thoughts & prayers, to Gerry's family.

I am sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I have fond memories of her in my youth and also, in my career. I always called her " Mrs." even though she told me it was ok to call her Gerry. She was always your mom to me and it was just respectful. May your memories make this time a little easier.

To the Family of Gerry Scott:
I have attended Grace Church, Copenhagen since I was a little girl. I have known the Scott family for all of those years. Gerry and Albert were two of my very favorite friends who attended Grace, Copenhagen. I have so many fond memories of them; they were two very special people. I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the family and other friends of Gerry; she was a wonderful lady. Today is February 14 and seven years ago, today, I lost my dear mother. I know how very hard it is to go through this kind of grief; my thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you. May we lift Gerry up in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen
