Oxbow – Coreline M. Lamar, 83, of Camel Hill Rd., Antwerp, died on Monday, February 16, 2015 at home under the care of her family and hospice of Jefferson County.
She was born November 11, 1931 in Edwards, to the late Vernon Cook and Myrtle Sherman.
She graduated from Herman Dekalb High School.
She married Robert Lamar on December 16, 1950 in Gouverneur, New York.
Coreline retired as a store clerk from the Ames Department Store in Gouverneur.
Her hobbies include sewing, gardening, quilting, bowling, and going to the casino.
Coreline is survived by several children, Barbara (Paul) Lamar Crowley, Staten Island; Mary Lamar, Oxbow; Jeffery (Faye) Lamar, Parishville; Laura( Earl) Swem, Spraugeville; Annette Lamar, Oxbow; and two brothers, Lester and Sherman Cook, and one grandchild, Robert Earl Swem, Denamora.
There will be no viewing. Burial will be held privately by the family at a later date.
