Obituary of Sandra J. Weyer

CARTHAGE- Sandra J. Weyer, 61, of 35406 NYS Route 3 died on Saturday March 7, 2015 at the Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York, where she had been a patient for the past four months. She was born on February 6, 1954 in Watertown, New York to Burlan B. and Ruth Martin Trim. She graduated from Carthage High School. She also graduated with a Bachelors and a Master's degree The State University of New York Polytechnic Institute, commonly referred to as SUNY IT, in Utica. She married Raymond D. Weyer. She is survived by her mother, Ruth Trim, Carthage; her husband, Raymond, Carthage; a son, Jonathan and his wife Suzanne Parobeck, Carthage and two grandchildren, Elane and Broden, Carthage; a brother, David and his wife Margie Trim, Carthage. She was a Registered Nurse, she worked for Fort Drum, Carthage Area Hospital, Samaritan Medical Center, and she ran the Philadelphia Medical Center as Nurse Practitioner for Dr. Khan and Dr. Ashraf. She loved being a nurse and caring for her patients! She was a member of the Sigma Thetu Tau, International Society of Nursing, NYSA District 6 President of Nursing, and she was an Adjunct Professor at Suny Canton. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., located at 500 State Street in Carthage. A graveside service will be held in the spring in Sandord Corners in Calcium.
