Obituary of Linda L. Tupper

Gouverneur – Linda L. Tupper, 71, formerly of 8067 Washington St. in Harrisville, died Tuesday afternoon at the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg, where she had been a patient for several days. Born in Herman, NY on April 5, 1943, the daughter of the late Grant and Thelma Halladay Odonnell. She attended school in Hermon. She married William Tupper on June 30th, 1960. She was a LPN and retired from the Carthage Area Hospital. Mr. Tupper died on November 30, 2012. Mrs. Tupper enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening tending to her flower beds, canning, playing cards and the time she spent with her family and friends. She is survived by her children; Sarita Olley, Susan and her companion Jody Thomas and a son, Joseph Tupper. Also surviving are her siblings; David Odonnell, Debbie Tupper, Donna Tupper, Dawn Thomas, and Danny Odonnell. She is survived by 8 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, and a brother Grant Odonnell and 2 infant sisters, Peggy and Wanda. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., 500 State St., Carthage. There will be a gathering at the Natural Bridge Fire Hall after the funeral. Burial will be held in the spring in Sand Hill Cemetery, Natural Bridge.
