Chuck, Missy, Cynthia and Cathy, very sorry to read of the passing of Rich Howard. I do remember him when he worked for a short time at Samaritan-Keep Home. I was Director of Medical Records for a time. I will keep him in my prayers and masses. He is not gone forever, he is in your memories, etc. Look up at the stars in the sky. He will be there shining for all of you. RIP Richard.

Uncle Dickie,
I think my first story of us precedes my first memory...I had been told that you and I were visited by a ghost (I was still in a crib) and I was a bit braver than you'd been ;) I doubt that'd be the case today.
It was always special to me (and Jessica, too, I'll bet) that Jess and I could say- and freak people out- "Our mothers are sisters and our father's are brothers". So as I was growing up, you were my "Uncle Dickie" every-which-way and it was special, just as you were and are to us all. I'll remember the way you spoke and how I had listen very carefully if I wanted to catch it all. A smile and the hug no matter how long it'd been since we'd seen one another. Knowing a part of myself because you were there to show what you could when no one else was. Thank you for that and that beautiful smile.
